Sikh Your Association was formed by sevadars who wanted a durable home for work that was already happening in kitchens, classrooms, and hospital corridors. We are a registered community NGO. Our compass is sarbat da bhala — the well-being of all.
What we believe
- Seva is a practice, not a performance. Help is given without asking anyone to change their name, faith, or politics.
- Langar teaches equality better than a speech: everyone sits in a line, everyone is fed.
- Young people should inherit institutions that work — books, clinics, and a table that is never empty — not only stories of past courage.
How we work
A small staff team coordinates volunteers, accounts, and partnerships with gurdwaras and neighbourhood groups. A volunteer board reviews programs each quarter. We publish a simple annual note of funds received and spent. If you want the latest copy, write to us.
